Fingerprint Services:
Saratoga Springs Police Department provides Live Scan fingerprint services to the residents of Saratoga Springs and surrounding cities. Appointments must be made for fingerprinting services. If you would like more information, you can see our Fingerprint Services Page. Payment is required at the time of the service and ranges from $10-20 depending on what type of fingerprints you need.
Police Report Request (GRAMA):
Under the Government Records Access Management Act (GRAMA), individuals are able to request copies of police reports. To request copies of a police report please see our Police Report Request (GRAMA) page. Payment will be made when the report is ready for pickup or by e-mail. The cost of your report will depend on the time it takes to process your request. Payments can be made over the phone or in person during normal office hours (Monday – Thursday 8 am – 5 pm or Fridays 8 am–Noon).
Parking and Animal Control Court Fines and/or Citations:
Payments for animal control court (ACE) fines are made at the Saratoga Springs Justice Courts on Mondays and Tuesdays (8 am – 3:45 pm) or at the Saratoga Springs Police Department during regular office hours (Monday – Thursday 8 am – 5 pm or Fridays 8 am-Noon) or over the phone at (801) 766-9793 EXT 168 or 801-766-6503.
Sex Offender Registry:
Sex offenders need to register with our department (this is required within 10 days of moving into our state and 2 times a year for the length of their sentence) and may make an appointment with a Detective at 801-766-6503. Payments will be made at the time of their appointment and are $19 annually.
Police Clearance Letters:
Residents may need police clearance letters, a notarized document that states they have no criminal record, for things such as adoption or travel. Our department offers this service to only our residents. You will need to come in person to request this clearance letter and provide your photo identification. A payment of $8 will be made at that time. Calling ahead to ensure our notary is in the office will expedite the resident's clearance letter. The letter will then be ready for pick up by the next business day following the request.
