Summer Youth Theatre
The Saratoga Springs Arts Council is dedicated to helping children and youth learn a love of the arts and performing. Each summer they run a theatre program to give kids a chance to learn acting, singing, and choreography. They end the program by putting on a show to see how all of these elements come together in a production.
The 2026 Youth Theatre Program registration will open April 6. Follow the city's social media for up to date info regarding Summer Youth Theatre. This year there will be 2 casts.
For youth 8-15 years old (must be 8 years old before May 26, 2026- no exceptions)
Youth 16-18 years of age with Theatre Experience that would like to participate, may be considered as a Youth Theatre Mentor. A link will be provided at the beginning of April to apply as a mentor.

is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI). All authorized performance materials are also supplied by MTI. www.mtishows.com
- Rehearsals will be weekdays May 26- June 24th, Morning cast 8:30-11:30am daily and afternoon cast 12:30-3:30pm daily, with a required Saturday rehearsal, June 20th. There is also an optional Saturday event of the Splash Day's parade on June 13th.
- Performances will be Thursday, June 25th & Friday, June 26th, 3pm & 7pm at Vista Heights Middle School.
- Cost $150.00
- Rehearsals will take place at Harvest elementary and Vista Heights Middle School.
- No more than 3 missed rehearsals is allowed.
- Registration includes 24 rehearsals, a show book, show shirt and participation in a live show.
- Registrations are non-transferrable.
- Refunds for cancellations will only be given through May 16th.
