Fall Festival

Come Celebrate the change of the season and all the fun Fall has to offer.

We'll have inflatables, a petting zoo, train rides, trick-or-treating, food trucks, our Community Fair and more!

Inflatable Alley & Petting Zoo 

  • A wristband is required to access the Inflatable Alley and the petting zoo. Inflatable Alley is for children 3-15 years old. The petting zoo is for all ages. No wristband is required for anyone over 15 accompanying a child in the petting zoo. Children 2 and under are free.

  • Special CASH ONLY Sales:
    •  $5 each September 3- October 2 at City Hall (Utility Billing Desk) for $5 each and receive your bands immediately- no waiting in line to pick them up at the park! Exact change required for in-person purchases.
  • Online Wristband Sales Portal:  
    •  $6 each September 3- 10
    •  $7 each September 11-30
    • $8 each October 1-3. 
    • No money is accepted at the park- you must still use the app to purchase wristbands at the festival.
    • Bring your QR code to the City Information Booth at Fall Festival to pick up your wristbands. Ticket booth opens at 4:45. 

Train Rides 

Train Rides are free but a $2 donation/rider is suggested. The donations help pay for fuel for the trains and to maintain the trains and tracks.

Pumpkin Contest

Show off your fall creativity in our Pumpkin Contest at this year’s Fall Festival! Residents of all ages are invited to bring a carved, painted, or decorated pumpkin to display during the event. Pumpkins will be showcased for the community to enjoy throughout the evening, and prizes will be awarded to top entries.  Pumpkins must be dropped off at the contest booth on event day between 1–4 PM.

Trick-or-Treating 

Treats and fun await in the Community Fair! walk through the booths provided by local businesses and community groups. There will also be stations around the park where children can do some trick-or-treating. There will also be fun photo ops throughout the park. 

Community Fair

 Our Community Fair consists of local businesses and groups setting up a booth to advertise their product/service. No sales are allowed. Distribution of materials or fliers is only allowed at your registered booth. 

  • Each vendor is required to have a game or activity with a treat or small toy for the children. Be ready for guests by 4:30.
  • The cost to have a booth is $30. 
  • We are asking each vendor to decorate their booth in a Fall or Halloween theme. The prize of a city Bronze Sponsorship ($1000 value) will be given to the winning decorated booth. Apply to have a community booth at: Booth registration

Scarecrow Row - Community Display 

New this year! Local businesses and organizations are invited to show off their creativity in our first-ever Scarecrow Row. Each group will design and display a scarecrow along the Fall Festival train ride path at Shay Park. Participation is free this year, simply bring your own scarecrow supplies and set up between 1–4 PM on October 3rd. Display space is approximately 4 feet wide, and businesses may include a small sign with their name or logo. Business/Organizations sign up here: Scarecrow Registration

  •  Come stroll along Scarecrow Row during the festival and enjoy the creativity of our community.

Food Trucks expected: 

Chick-fil-A, Pizza Cone Zone, Salty Pineapple, Travelin' Tom's Coffee & Beverages, Donut NV, Killer Dogs, Jurassic Tacos, Fry Me To The Moon, Cuppa Love

Food trucks provided by The Food Truck League. Please contact them directly if you are a food vendor who would like to participate.

ParkingFall Festival Parking Map

  • ADA parking is available at Shay Park in the west parking lot near the pavilion. Please follow signage and direction from the parking attendant.
  • Parking for the general public is available at the church east of Shay Park, at Riverview Elementary and along 400 West. We encourage carpooling or walking if you live nearby. See the map below for parking options. No street parking is allowed on Aspen Hills Blvd or Lyndi Lane adjacent to the park.
