Public Works
Responsibilities
The mission of the Public Works Department is to deliver superior municipal services to our residents, and to effectively develop, manage and operate the public infrastructure and assets that are the foundation of the City’s health, safety and welfare.
The Public Works Department is responsible for the municipal services that provide culinary water supply and distribution, secondary water supply and distribution, storm water control, street maintenance, collection of sewage, snow removal and street lighting, with designated traffic control signals. These services provide the physical public infrastructure upon which a community is built. The Public Works Department is committed to providing a service level that will allow the City of Saratoga Springs to grow and prosper.

Sewer Division
The Sewer Division's mission to properly maintain the operation of the City's sanitary sewer system such that the City's sewage is safely and efficiently collected and conveyed into the Timpanogos Special Service District (TSSD) system. TSSD accepts our city's sewage in their large diameter gravity mains, which convey the sewage to the TSSD wastewater treatment facility.
